“Confessions Of A Future Bride” | Post 18

Happy Hump Day Everyone! I just want to take the opportunity to THANK YOU all for following along! The feedback that we’ve been getting back has been great! Rachel and I appreciate all of your support.

As a photographer, I have to keep up with the latest trends of photos while setting ourselves apart. We are constantly brainstorming and coming up with new ways to stay current and creative. As Heidi Klum would say, “One day your in and the next day your out!” Well I don’t want to be “out.” I just want to grow to the next level.

Rachel and I are always discussing the next step for our business. We would love to eventually grow a team of photographers while also tapping into the world of cinematography. {Again, this is all discussions.} But nonetheless, it’s a goal and as with any goal, you have to try and take a step towards it. With our most recent blog series going on, we are constantly thinking of topics that our readers would want to read. I talked with Rachel about documenting the day that she and her fiancé, Art, go to do her bridal registry (as I have been doing with anything else that involves wedding planning). But this time, I wanted to do something a little different and creative. I decided to film it rather than just taking pictures. I was just curious to see what I could do. And after doing it now, I cannot wait to do more!!! It was soo much fun!

So as we continue to Post 18 of our “Confessions of a Future Bride” and hear Rachel’s experience of getting her bridal registry together, I’d like for you to take a look at 3.5 min video that I put together! Remember to be kind, as it was my first time but I’m kind of happy with it!!!!

Rachel's Bridal Registry-1

“Who doesn’t look forward to completing their registry?! I mean come on… Walking around a store of your choice scanning everything you would love to have in your life!! That’s every girl’s dream, isn’t it?!

My dream definitely came true.. For those of you who know me, know without a doubt what my favorite store is.. TARGET!! Ahhhh!! I love Target 🙂 I would say about 90% of my wardrobe and household items come from Target. So of course Target was my first place to register! And Oh My Goodness, did I love it! Arthur took a while to get into it.. But he began to have fun with it too 🙂 I was the picker and Arthur was the scanner.. Of course Arthur had to sneak a few things on the registry as well {Like the Batman shower curtain..} We spent about two hours going through Target..

We then went to Bed, Bath & Beyond.. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of the store.. But I feel like everyone registers at Bed, Bath & Beyond 🙂 When Arthur and I went, we spent about 45 minutes walking throughout the store.. And I have to say, I still was not thrilled with it.. I mean.. It was no Target 🙂

I had a blast completing our registry.. One more thing to check off the list.. It is a little intimidating though coming home, checking out the registry and seeing that our wedding is less than 150 days away!! I am super excited for the festivities to come.. Including my bridal shower.. And I am doing my best not to weasel information out of anyone :)”
