“Confessions Of A Future Bride” | Post 31

We continue our wedding blog series with a post about wedding bands…

“In all honesty.. I almost forgot about getting the wedding bands 🙂 This was actually something that Arthur took the lead on. It was such a small thing, but I was so glad that Arthur set up a time for us to go check out some bands with our great friend Rachel {Another Rachel.. Not me obviously 🙂 }who works at Kay Jewelers. It was nice to have one tiny thing that was not put on my plate.

So off to Kays we went! Let me tell you.. Choosing a wedding band was a lot harder than I thought it would be! When I was walking into the store, I had a style in mind. I was thinking that I wanted a regular band with small diamonds in it.. But after trying some on with my engagement ring, I couldn’t make up my mind! So Rachel gave me a great piece of advice.. She told me to find a band that I liked on it’s own, then to try it on with my engagement ring. And I ended up with a ring that I did not expect to be walking out with!

I love, love, love my choice. I was just saying to Arthur the other day that I could not wait until we actually had the rings.. And he says to me “Rach, you know you can’t wear it until the wedding, right?” 🙂 I’m just super excited!!

And I am a terrible fiancé.. I did not even take a picture of Art’s ring 😦 I didn’t even realize until I had sent a picture of my band to my mom and she said send me one of Art’s.. Oops 🙂 {So I went on the Kay Jeweler’s website and took a screen shot of it} When Art was trying on rings, it looked so weird to see a ring on his finger! I told Rachel to give him a size smaller, because that thing is never coming off :)”
