Have you been following along??? Thank you so much to our readers! I can’t believe that Rachel’s wedding is next month!!! It’s been so fun putting this blog series together with her. Tell us – what is your favorite post so far?????!!!
“Of course when choosing an invitation, Pinterest was my best friend 🙂 I had a hard time choosing a design that I liked.. As many of you know, my colors are navy and yellow.. But when looking at navy and yellow invitations on Pinterest, I really wasn’t a huge fan of any..
I had chosen a simple white invitation with navy blue writing, but my bridesmaid/cousin, Amy, vetoed that idea. She said it was too simple and it needed something more..
At that point I decided to throw out the color scheme and do whatever the heck I liked.. I picked out a few inspiration invitations and showed them to Arthur and he took it and went with it!
My fantastic fiancé created the invites, RSVP and an information card. And of course I loved them! Something a little bit different.. Arthur and I decided that we do not want to have children at the wedding. I found an awesome way to word this on the invites.. “In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy the evening off!” I couldn’t think of a better way to word this!
